Information you provide
- Account information: your name, phone number, and email address when you register.
- Driver information (drivers only): profile photo, vehicle details, driver's licence, insurance, and other documents required for approval.
- Payment information: payment card details, which are collected and processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send through in-app chat or to our support team.
Information collected automatically
- Location data: precise GPS location to match riders with drivers, provide navigation, track trips in real time, and ensure safety. Driver apps may collect location in the background while you are online and available for trips.
- Device information: device identifiers and push notification tokens used to deliver notifications and operate the Service.
- Usage and diagnostic data: information about how you use the app and technical data used to maintain reliability and fix problems.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To match riders and drivers and facilitate rides, courier, and delivery services.
- To process payments and pay drivers through Stripe.
- To provide real-time tracking, navigation, and trip history.
- To send service-related notifications (ride status, driver arrival, scheduled ride reminders, and similar).
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Between riders and drivers: limited information (such as first name, photo, vehicle details, pickup/drop-off, and approximate or precise location during a trip) is shared to complete a ride.
- Service providers: we use trusted third parties including Google (Firebase for backend, database, notifications, and Maps for location and navigation) and Stripe (payment processing and driver payouts). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, drivers, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction: you may request access to or correction of your personal information.
- Account deletion: you can delete your account from within the app, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal information, subject to data we must retain for legal reasons.
- Location permissions: you can control location access through your device settings, though some features will not work without it.
- Notifications: you can manage push notifications in your device settings.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure provided by Google Firebase and Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of majority in their province, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
8. International Processing
Our service providers (such as Google and Stripe) may process and store data on servers located outside your province or country. Where this occurs, your information remains protected under this policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
