Open the PickU Rides app, set your pickup and drop-off locations, confirm your fare, and tap to book. You'll be matched with a nearby driver and can track them in real time.
Yes. When booking, choose the scheduled option and pick your date and time. We'll find a driver shortly before your scheduled time and send you reminders.
Yes. While booking, add extra stops along your route before confirming. Your fare is calculated to include all stops.
Payments are handled securely in the app with your card. You can save a card for faster checkout next time. We never charge more than the agreed fare unless there are waiting charges or extra stops.
If no driver is found for a scheduled ride, the ride is cancelled and you're not charged — you can simply try booking again. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us and we'll review it.
You earn points for completed rides. Once you reach the required balance, you can unlock a discount on a future ride directly in the app.
You can cancel from the app. Cancelling before a driver is assigned is free; cancelling after a driver is on the way may include a fee to fairly compensate the driver.
Use the Lost & Found option in the app to report the item, or email us with your ride details and we'll help you reconnect with your driver.
You can raise a dispute from your trip history in the app, or email our support team. We'll look into it and get back to you.
Once your documents are approved, open the app and toggle yourself Online from the home screen. You'll start receiving nearby ride requests in your hub.
New drivers are reviewed before they can go online. Make sure all required documents are uploaded and clear. If approval is taking longer than expected, contact us.
Your earnings are transferred to your connected Stripe account after each completed ride. You can review your earnings and payout details under the Earnings section of the app.
Complete the Stripe payout setup in the app. You'll need your banking details so we can transfer your earnings securely.
Payouts can fail if your Stripe details are incomplete. Check that your payout account is fully set up. If it still hasn't arrived, contact us and we'll investigate.
Upload your renewed documents (licence, insurance, police clearance) under your profile before they expire. Expired documents will automatically take you offline until updated.
This usually happens when a required document has expired. Update your documents in the app to go back online. If everything looks current, contact support.
Use the breakdown option in the active ride screen. We'll help arrange another driver to continue the rider's trip, and your fare is handled fairly for the part you completed.
In some cases a ride may be reassigned to another driver before pickup. If a ride is reassigned away from you, you'll be returned to available and can accept new requests.
Use the Lost & Found option in the app to report it, and we'll help return the item to the rider.
